Hey guys don't be blaming Dustin. His site has lot of useful information. If you are so worried about the design and color then just subscribe to the site's RSS feeds and read it in any of your preferred feed reader.

Just the fact that I'm taking a whole minute to write this comment disturbs me, but some times you just gotta ;)

DUDE! Wordpress template! You are hardly in the position to judge others on design, get a new hobby or remove the ridiculous little smiley at the bottom of the page at least.

Cheers

It's easier to smell a bad egg than to lay a good one.

Rather than tear people down in their personal design choices, a much better site would magnify good design. Look at all the really successful websites that developers frequent -- none of them are in the habbit of tearing people down. It's just not cool. Grow up. If you keep in the pattern of only pointing out bad designs, nobody will ever visit your site because it's pointless. Just start at MySpace or Geocities and occupy yourself there :-P The point is: there are so many bad sites that pointing out negative elements in design is a waste of time.

And not to make your comments seem like a broken record or anything, but it is very ironic that you're using the default template that comes with WP instead of designing something yourself (unlike many of the other commentors though, I have little bad to say about the Kubric design).

I think you will find that it is your site, with it's "out-of-the-box" crap styling, is the eyesore, not dustin's. How about you learn about how to a) speak english and b) style and code a site before you start commenting on other people's sites. While your at it, try learning php or ruby, and code your own site, then someone might take you seriously!

"Gray with bright colours can be dangerous to your eyes!"

Do you have any evidence to support that claim? IBM and other companies found the reverse to be true. A dark background with light text was better than the opposite. Their studies indicated that green text was optimum in terms of eye fatigue. Bright white on a dark background was not as good, but both were better than black or dark text on a white background.
